What this Privacy Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy covers TenantMarket.com's treatment of personally identifiable information that TenantMarket.com collects when you are on the Web site located at www.TenantMarket.com, and when you use TenantMarket.com's services. This policy also covers TenantMarket.com's treatment of any personally identifiable information that TenantMarket.com's business partners share with TenantMarket.com.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that TenantMarket.com does not own or control, or to people that TenantMarket.com does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and Use

TenantMarket.com collects personally identifiable information when you register for a TenantMarket.com account and when you use the service. TenantMarket.com may also receive personally identifiable information from our business partners.

When you register with TenantMarket.com as a renter, we ask for your name, email address, estimated credit rating, and details about the housing you are seeking. You may also be requested to provide additional information to TenantMarket.com after you have registered, such as your desired amenities. When you register with TenantMarket.com as a landlord marketing a vacancy, we ask for your name, email address, physical address, and credit card information. Once you register with TenantMarket.com and sign in to our services as either a renter or a landlord, you are not anonymous to us.

TenantMarket.com also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, TenantMarket.com cookie information and the page you requested.

TenantMarket.com uses your information for three general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see on our pages, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and in some cases, to contact you.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

TenantMarket.com will not provide your personally identifiable information to other companies or people except in the following instances:

We operate our site in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and do not permit registration by, and will not knowingly collect or use personally identifiable information from anyone under 18 years of age. This requirement is posted during the registration process.
